Twin Lakes Empowers Communities Across the Upper Cumberland
As part of its ongoing commitment to rural communities, Twin Lakes awarded more than $127,000 benefiting 26 regional organizations. This initiative highlights Twin Lakes’ dedication to enhancing digital access throughout rural areas of the Upper Cumberland. These community-based organizations range from schools, senior centers, fire departments, economic development groups, museums and more.
The community grant program is offered annually through Twin Lakes to maintain and enrich the quality of life in rural America. If you, or an organization you know, are interesting in applying for grant funding, please contact your local Twin Lakes office for more information.

Scholarship Opportunity for Graduating Seniors
Twin Lakes is proud to partner with the Foundation for Rural Service to provide graduating seniors and nontraditional students in our service area with the opportunity to apply for scholarships to help further their education.
FRS annually awards scholarships to rural students for their first year of 2-year of 4-year college, or vocational school. This year, FRS is introducing a scholarship for nontraditional students. This includes individuals who have not recently graduated from high school but are pursuing college or vocational school while balancing work, as well as returning students who have taken a break from their studies.
Twin Lakes had so much fun participating in the Christmas parades throughout the Upper Cumberland. Visit the Twin Lakes Facebook page to see pictures from each parade!
